Bulk Barn Foods Ltd. Takes the Lead in the Alzheimer Society's 18th Annual Coffee Break(R) Fundraiser
(firmenpresse) - RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/06/13 -- Bulk Barn Foods Ltd. is proud to support the Alzheimer Society in their 18th year of fundraising benefiting individuals with dementia and their family members.
Bulk Barn is supporting the program by collecting donations through the sale of Coffee Break® decals during the period of September 6th through September 21st. All the money collected will go directly to local Alzheimer Societies and support people in those communities. Each customer's signature on the decal recognizes their donation of at least $1.00 and these are proudly mounted on the wall behind the cash registers.
According to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, over 747,000 Canadians live with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia and that number is expected to reach well over 1 million in the next generation. Coffee Break is the Alzheimer Society's major nationwide annual fundraiser where the money raised stays in the community to help support local programs and services. "We are very grateful to Bulk Barn, their staff and customers for their long-standing commitment to our work and for being champions in the face of this disease.
