Leader in Brain Injury Rehabilitation Facilitates Strong Recovery; Looks Ahead to Expand Services

(firmenpresse) - WAUCHULA, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 09/05/13 -- The Florida Institute for Neurologic Rehabilitation, Inc. (FINR) today announced that they have successfully emerged from Chapter 11 Reorganization proceedings.

FINR entered into Chapter 11 early this year under jurisdiction of esteemed Judge Catherine Peek McEwen of the Middle District of Florida. On August 29, Judge McEwen confirmed FINR's Plan of Reorganization under the strict dictates of Title 11 of the United States Code. FINR improved its cash flow during the Chapter 11 proceedings while maintaining a high standard of care throughout their brain injury continuum under the watchful eye of the Court and pursuant to favorable reports from a court appointed ombudsman.

Assisting FINR through the complex path of reorganization was their legal counsel Craig I. Kelley, Esquire of West Palm Beach, Florida, as well their accountant Don Dorra, CPA, with special assistance from Edward Peterson, Esquire of Tampa.
