Operation Finally Home/Wyoming Kicks Off With Corporate Reception and 9/11 Groundbreaking
(firmenpresse) - CODY, WY -- (Marketwired) -- 09/04/13 -- The national non-profit, , which builds mortgage free homes for America's war wounded and the widows of fallen veterans, is currently undertaking its first home project in the state of Wyoming . Two key events are planned back-to-back in September and are the first since late June, when Operation Finally Home announced the project at the Xtreme Bulls rodeo event in Cody.
is managing the building of the first home with support from Wyoming Building Solutions. McClure is hosting a private reception for VIP supporters and corporate sponsors on September 10 from 5-7 pm at the Pat O'Hara Brewing Company.
The following day, on Patriots Day, September 11, McClure will hold the official groundbreaking for Operation Finally Home Cody at the location of the new home: 631 19th Street, Cody, WY at 4 pm. The public is welcome to attend.
The first Wyoming home built by Operation Finally Home has been awarded to the Butz family. James Butz, retired Chief Petty Officer, USCG and his wife Donna, were nominated, vetted, and awarded the mortgage free home because of their past and continued involvement in helping other veterans coming home. This deserving hometown hero served his nation proudly and was severely injured in the line of duty. He has endured 19 surgeries with more to come in the relative future. Donna cares for him full time, but also works from home. They both actively assist other veterans (injured or not) and their families to settle back into civilian life again.
One hundred percent of the funds go toward the home with no administration costs footed by Operation Finally HomeAll monies will remain in Cody for the Cody home being built. All proceeds, materials, and labor costs are tax deductible and McClure Builders has the tax appropriate paper work for any and all contributions.
