(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/04/13 -- The Fraser Institute will release a new study examining what Canada could gain by joining the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), Thursday, September 5 at 6:30 a.m. (Eastern).
The Conservative government has signalled that international trade is a top priority and it aims to diversify Canada's trading relationship away from the United States.
The TPP trade agreement will secure a trade alliance between Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the United States, and Vietnam, representing a combined economy of more than $27 trillion (35 per cent of global GDP) and about one third of global trade.
