Exercise Vigilant Eagle is an annual joint exercise between Russian, Canadian, and U.S. militaries, designed to improve cooperation and response to a hijacking scenario involving commercial aircraft. This year's exercise involved military personnel and aircraft operating in Russia and the United States.
