Vancouver Career College to host Provincial Open House on September 5, 2013

Vancouver Career College is hosting a Provincial Open House on Thursday, September 5, 2013 to show prospective students how they can get the help they need to get started in some of BC's hottest sectors.
With construction booming across the province once again, the demand for tradespeople, including electricians, has skyrocketed. BC's healthcare sector needs a range of well-trained professionals including licensed practical nurses, healthcare assistants, pharmacy assistants and medical office personnel to keep up with retirements and increased demand for services. Vancouver Career College's Open House takes place on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 6-8:00pm at campuses in Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, Abbotsford and Kelowna. Check-in time is 5:30pm.
In addition to helping attendees explore their career options, Vancouver Career College will offer them a chance to qualify for a $1,000 scholarship to use toward tuition. One scholarship will be awarded per campus, allowing the recipient to get started on the path to the career of their dreams.
