A member of the Quebec Bar since 1991, Me Jean Carrier has more than 19 years of experience in environmental law. Throughout his career and as a partner in an important national law firm, he specialized in the traditional fields of mergers and acquisitions, financing and contaminated lands, as well as in the fields of natural resources and energy. Involved in major national and international transactions and projects, he completed successful mandates in over 10 countries, more specifically in Europe and in Africa.
Me Carrier is on the list of environmental experts of the North American Free Trade Agreement since 2000. He was the president of the Section on Environment, Energy and Natural Resources (Quebec branch) of the Canadian Bar Association from 1998 to 2004, as well as a member of the legislative sub-committee of this Association from 1995 to 2003.
