Imagine a mall the size of a small city with two hotels (one is just across the street), 10 attractions, 100 dining options and an overall choice of more than 800 stores and services to choose from.
At 5.3 million square feet, West Edmonton Mall always has something new to explore. It's home to , the world's largest indoor amusement park and the - with the world's largest indoor wave pool - where the temperature is a balmy 31 degrees Celsius every day of the year. It's all about fun at Galaxyland's newest attraction, the Galaxy Quest 7D Experience - part movie, part ride and part game. Start with 3D visual effects, then add in wind machines, strobe lights, rapid motion seats, and personal laser blasters. You'll find that due to the interactive nature of the ride no two visits will be the same! The attraction is currently playing two movies that rotate hourly: Los Banditos and Zombies. Or zip over to the World Waterpark for the world's largest permanent indoor zipline feature. Linetech Ziplines has opened a zipline over 138 metres (450 feet) in the park. The four-line system stretches over the entire wave pool. Riders zipline at speeds up to 40-km/h (25 mph). While at the Waterpark - CNN Travel just named the park as one of the Top 12 in the world - learn how to catch a wave with newly introduced surfing lessons. And for something just a bit different there is , which features animals to interact with. The pool includes a nursery for shark pups, enabling guests to view and learn about the different life stages of this marine species.
