Company Founder Michael Hiney Announced as TCG's President and CEO
(firmenpresse) - TEWKSBURY, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/20/13 -- (TCG), the leading independent supplier of tactical data link (TDL) software solutions for military test, training, simulation and operational users worldwide, announced that its Board of Managers has approved the appointment of Michael Hiney to President and CEO. Mr. Hiney had served as TCG's General Manager for the past 6 years where he was responsible for the technical aspects of TCG's operations, including engineering, product and program management, operational/technical support, and quality assurance and has been a member of TCG's Board since 2011. Mr. Hiney, a TCG founder, has been with the company since its inception in 2001 and he brings over 25 years of Tactical Data Link experience to his new role.

In addition to Mr. Hiney's appointment, TCG has also revised its organizational structure as follows:
Mr. Kevin Mawn was promoted to Vice President of Operations. In his new role, Mr. Mawn will have increased responsibility for program management and business development activities in addition to overseeing TCG's contracts, security, human resources, and administrative functions.
Mr. Nick Kropp, TCG's Vice President of TCG's Virginia Office and Worldwide Field Operations, saw his role expanded to include oversight of all of TCG's technical and client support activities as well as additional program management responsibilities.
Mr. Frank Newark, TCG's Vice President of Engineering, also saw his role expanded. His new responsibilities include quality assurance and additional program management.
