Sixth Annual Orinda Restaurant Tour to Launch September 24th
Cable Car Trolley to Travel Town's Two Restaurant Rows for Taste Delights
(firmenpresse) - ORINDA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/16/13 -- San Francisco Bay area food lovers will have the opportunity to join a fun, culinary tour to sample their way through Orinda restaurants on Tuesday, September 24th. The Orinda Chamber of Commerce today announced plans for the sixth annual "Orinda Restaurant Tour."
The popular event will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Registration will start at Theatre Square from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The actual tour of Orinda restaurants will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with dessert following from 8:00 - 8:30 p.m. A cable car trolley will ferry guests across town with live entertainment on board.
Sylvia Jorgensen, Orinda Chamber of Commerce president, labeled this not-to-miss event as the city's "best couples' night on the town," adding, "This is a great opportunity to support our community while getting to know all the latest offerings by Orinda's fine restaurants!"
Each restaurant on the tour will provide a small portion that best represents the establishment at no cost to the event ticket holders. A glass of wine at Library Square is included in each ticket price. The cost of an advance individual ticket will be $40. Tickets may be reserved in advance using a major credit card at the Orinda Chamber of Commerce web site -- . Reservations will be limited to 250 ticket holders, so attendees are encouraged to reserve now. If available, tickets on the day of the event will be $45.
The Restaurant Tour is one of the "Celebrate September in Orinda" series of events including Friday's "Dancing With The Cars" party on Sep. 20, the free Saturday "Orinda Classic Car Show" on Sep. 21 and "Speed on the Screen" Movie Night on Sunday, Sep 21. See for details and tickets.
