The Modern Bakery Moscow is the only trade fair in Russia and the CIS states that covers the entire bakery and confectionery sector, with all of its accompanying areas -- from ingredients, facilities and machines, right up to packaging materials. In 2013, 243 exhibitors (of which 144 came from abroad) presented themselves to a broad professional audience and, based on the evaluation of an internal survey, the exhibitors stated their satisfaction with the organisation and implementation of the trade fair. Especially the market opportunities to Moscow and in the Russian regions greatly satisfied the exhibitors. Last but not least, the increase in the number of visitors, when compared to 2012, to approximately 15,000 trade fair visitors, contributed positively to the overall image.
In a globalised world, the future is continually changing, and it also makes no exception with the Modern Bakery Moscow. For this reason, apart from the traditional topics revolving around baking, the 20th Modern Bakery Moscow has expanded its portfolio for exhibitors and trade visitors. In 2014, questions pertaining to system gastronomy will be placed at the centre of attention. This includes, among others, all-in catering, ice cream, coffee, chocolate or shop fittings and store concepts. "For us as trade fair organisers, it is important to ensure we always satisfy the 'modern' claim in our trade fair logo and concept. We respond to new trends that are becoming apparent or are already asserting themselves and adapt our trade fair concept accordingly so as to present our exhibitors and trade visitors with an up-to-date and apt image of the market," Fichtner adds.
With 243 exhibitors and 15,000 trade visitors, the Modern Bakery Moscow is the most important information and contact platform for the Russian bakery and confectionery industry. It covers the entire gamut of this branch: From facilities and machines, laboratory and measuring devices, refrigeration and air-conditioning technology, packaging technology and machines, right up to baking ingredients, finished products, fast food, ice cream, pasta and pizza, as well as café and store fixtures, marketing and sales, and process optimization. Additionally, every year, there is a comprehensive and informative supporting programme that addresses the current developments of the international and Russian market.
The 20th Modern Bakery Moscow will take place from 23 to 26 April 2014 in Hall 2 at the central Expocentre Fairgrounds in Moscow.
