State of Delaware Selects AiM(TM) from AssetWorks
State agencies to use industry-leading IWMS solution to improve stewardship over state-owned assets.
(firmenpresse) - SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- (Marketwired) -- 08/06/13 -- AssetWorks, a leader in intelligent workplace management, today announced the State of Delaware's Office of Budget and Management (OMB) has selected AiM™ to help all state agencies manage their facility and real estate portfolios. Under the terms of the new contract, every agency in the state is eligible to utilize AiM in the cloud taking advantage of AiM's support for multitenant deployments and centralized reporting. Terms of the agreement also call for obtaining and deploying the AiM iDesk mobile solution and the AiM IQ embedded business intelligence tool.
Delaware's Department of Human and Social Services (DHSS) was the first agency to deploy AiM in a production environment, and OMB is expected to follow suit on August 19, 2013 with completion targeted for early autumn. Combined, these two organizations directly manage the vast majority of state-owned buildings in Delaware. Both organizations are chartered to manage facilities maintenance, sustainability, accessibility, security, capital programs and space planning.
