Former FERC Commissioner, NERC Director to Present at 14th Peak Load Management Alliance Fall Conference

"The Practice of Demand Response: Views from the Real World" is the event theme. The opening keynote presenter will be former FERC Commissioner Nora Brownell who is Co-founder and Principal of ESPY Energy Solutions, and serves on the boards of National Grid, PLC, ONCOR, Comverge, Spectra Energy Partners, Times Publishing Company, and Tangent. Another featured presenter will be John N. Moura, Director of Reliability Assessment with North American Electric Reliability Corporation. The agenda also includes panel discussions on: Mass Market Analytics, Building Solutions, Renewables, Case Studies in Demand Response Innovations, Demand Response and the Customer Experience, Installation Challenges, Dynamic Pricing, and OpenADR Progress. A Technology Showcase panel will feature a lightning-fast round of introductions to leading-edge technology innovations. "Intro to OpenADR" will be the topic for an optional pre-event workshop hosted by the OpenADR Alliance, and "Come on In, the Water's Fine: The Emerging Market for Grid-Interactive Electric Water Heating" will be the subject of a post-event workshop hosted by the PLMA Grid-Interactive Water Heater Interest Group.
