CPA Working With BRZs to Support Business Community
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/31/13 -- During the month of August, the Calgary Parking Authority (CPA) is providing parking credits as a way to invite people back to flood-affected areas. A total of 10,000 $10 ParkPlus certificates will be randomly distributed during lunch hours and at various festivals and events in participating business revitalization zones (BRZs). This includes:

"Calgary Parking Authority has been on the mark from the initial response of free parking in flood-affected areas during the state of emergency, to this latest generous incentive to encourage people to rediscover our city by shopping in the flood-affected business areas," said Executive Director Annie MacInnis, Kensington BRZ.
"On behalf of , the umbrella organization of Calgary BRZs and all the flood-affected shopping and business areas, we hope this great incentive will entice Calgarians not just to come rediscover these areas but to come back again soon."
Each certificate is redeemable for $10 worth of ParkPlus cell phone account credits. To redeem the gift certificate, customers need to contact CPA's ParkPlus team at 403-537-7275 or email .
The $10 credit can be added to an existing ParkPlus cell phone account. Customers who do not yet have a ParkPlus cell phone can create one online at or contact ParkPlus for assistance.
"Many of Calgary's businesses have been impacted by the flood and are now back to business," said General Manager Troy McLeod, CPA. "Providing parking credits is one way we are hoping to encourage Calgarians to support these businesses and help our community."
