Burke Mortensen brings to XDD significant litigation expertise as a licensed attorney with 12 years of experience representing both individuals and companies. She is a former shareholder at the Bassford Remele law firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she practiced in the areas of construction litigation, insurance coverage, personal injury, product liability and professional liability. Previously Burke Mortensen represented general contractors, subcontractors and owners in her construction litigation practice at Foley & Mansfield in Minneapolis. She has handled every aspect of litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice, ADR and trial.
As a senior discovery consultant at Xact Data Discovery, Burke Mortensen consults with law firms and corporate legal departments to provide substantive eDiscovery advice and solutions. She assists with all stages of the discovery life cycle and works with clients to streamline the process and provide the most cost-effective solutions. Burke Mortensen received her JD from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, and her MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis.
