The Corporate 5K Coming to Fort Worth
(firmenpresse) - FORT WORTH, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 07/30/13 -- CBH Events, organizers of The Corporate 5K, will be hosting a corporate wellness event and 5K run on Saturday, October 5th, 2013 at LaGrave Field in Fort Worth.
The event, which benefits the Tarrant Area Food Bank as part of CBH Events' "Feeding America" charity initiative, will begin with a group warm-up in the corporate village before sending participants out along the USATF-certified 5K course. The run finishes at the corporate village where health and wellness vendors, energy stations, and a live DJ welcome back the participants. The event culminates with the corporate awards ceremony where awards are given out to the top finishers, the fastest team, and the company with the most team spirit. The largest team will win the corporate challenge and will be named "Fort Worth's Fittest Company."
Participants of all abilities participate in The Corporate 5k to promote fitness, create meaningful relationships with co-workers outside of the workplace, network with peers, and most importantly to have fun!
The Tarrant Area Food Bank fights to eliminate hunger in 13 North Texas counties by providing food, education and resources through innovation and collaboration.
