Audi Ranks Second Overall in 2013 J.D. Power APEAL Study
(firmenpresse) - HERNDON, VA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/24/13 --
This is the 18th year of the J.D. Power APEAL Study, which examines drivers' assessments of the design, content, layout, and performance of their new vehicles during the first 90 days of ownership.
"We believe we put the best cars on the road," said Audi of America President Scott Keogh. "Premium car customers have now demonstrated that belief by registering record levels of enthusiasm in the J.D. Power U.S. APEAL study, on top of 30 straight months of record sales."
The 2013 Audi allroad -- with a score of 857 on a 1,000-point scale -- received the APEAL award in the Compact Premium CUV segment, narrowly edging the Audi Q5 crossover. With the proven capability of Audi quattro® all-wheel drive, the cargo capacity of a crossover and the refinement of a luxury car, the allroad combines unmatched all-weather capabilities with the driving dynamics and style that are unique to Audi. Following a seven-year hiatus in the U.S. market, the allroad made its long-awaited return last year in a package that is faster and more fuel efficient than its predecessor.
Other notable APEAL Awards distinctions for Audi include:
Audi A4/A5 ranked 2nd in Compact Premium Car segment
Audi Q5 ranked 2nd in Compact Premium CUV class
Audi A6 ranked 2nd in Midsize Premium Car category
Audi Q7 ranked 2nd Midsize Premium CUV segment
Audi A8 ranked 2nd in Large Premium Csegment
