Lincoln Military Housing Celebrates Friendship Day
(firmenpresse) - SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/23/13 -- In recognition of Friendship Day, August 4th, Lincoln Military Housing (LMH) will be sponsoring events throughout the San Diego Region to promote the benefits of close ties and friendships within military communities.
LMH residents will have the opportunity to attend a "Friendship Speed Dating" style event on August 2nd at the Santo Community Center. This event is intended to help build connections and friendships between LMH military spouses. The event is being facilitated by author and successful entrepreneur Ann Marie Houghtailing. Ms. Houghtailing will speak to the power of connections and how they can contribute to a life led with energy and passion. After the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to build friendships, playfully presented in the "speed dating" format. Both dinner and childcare will be provided at this event.
In further observance of Friendship Day, will be promoting Friendship Day throughout the month throughout their social media outlets. Certain installation specific, social media campaigns, will ask residents to post their favorite personal stories of friendship found through LMH events while others will share inspirational quotes that residents can share with friends near and far to show their appreciation.
