Ainsworth Announces New Labour Agreement With Unionized Workers at Barwick Mill
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/17/13 -- Ainsworth Lumber Co. Ltd. (TSX: ANS)(TSX: ANS.WT) ("Ainsworth" or the "Company") announced today that a new four year labour agreement with the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada (CEP Local 324-99) has been ratified by its union members.
The new labour agreement involves approximately 130 employees at the Barwick, Ontario mill and will expire on July 31, 2017. The previous contract was set to expire July 31, 2013.
