The Fraser Institute-Media Advisory: Report Measuring Cost of Wait Times for Health Care Coming Thursday, July 18
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/17/13 -- The Fraser Institute will release a new report measuring the value of time and productivity Canadians lost in 2012 due to wait times for surgery and other therapeutic treatments, on Thursday, July 18 at 6:30 a.m. (Eastern).
The Private Cost of Public Queues for Medically Necessary Care uses data from the Fraser Institute's annual survey of health care wait times to calculate how many patients were waiting for treatment in 2012, and the average value of time lost during the work week for each of those patients.
