The new state-of-the art imaging center was designed to significantly enhance the patient's experience and is expected to reopen in August 2013.
The extensive remodel is to accommodate more advanced technology and elevate every aspect of the patient experience by improving convenience, comfort and support. Renovations include the addition of new and advanced technology such as the cutting edge scanner. Employing sophisticated technology that has previously been confined to research facilities, the 3T MR scanner is setting the new standard in medical imaging. With the addition of this scanner, Imaging Healthcare Specialists will be one of a few imaging facilities able to do a variety of advanced .
In addition, Imaging Healthcare Specialists will be adding a full suite of digital X-ray services to the Golden Triangle location, while continuing to provide ultrasound, mammography and computed tomography (CT) services.
Imaging Healthcare Specialists' Golden Triangle facility is located at 4150 Regents Park Row, Suite 195, La Jolla, CA 92037. During the renovation, Imaging Healthcare Specialists will continue to serve the Golden Triangle community with expanded hours and services at their nine additional locations in the San Diego area. The closest location to La Jolla is their Kearny Mesa facility located at 7625 Mesa College Drive, Suite 103, San Diego, CA 92111.
