Energy Industry Veteran Jim Brown Will Head Global Sales and Marketing for Flywheel Energy Storage Systems Leader

Mr. Brown brings over 20 years of international energy industry experience, most recently as Executive VP of Business Development and President of Global Utility Systems at solar industry leader First Solar. While there he oversaw expansion of its business portfolio to where it is now one of the largest companies in the sector. Earlier in his career, Mr. Brown worked in project and structured finance at Chase Manhattan, Société Générale, WestLB AG and HSBC, specializing in the power and energy sectors.
Mr. Brown's responsibilities at Beacon Power will include all areas of product commercialization and business development, including sales and marketing strategy and execution.
