June Review
The in June were a big hit with the Slickdeals community. Many of our users took advantage of slashed prices at retailers like Tilly's, Puma, Bath & Body, and Nordstrom.
Similar to last year, we saw a significant spike in (probably for graduation gifts). However, while laptop deals trended well in 2012, this month saw a rise in tablet sales like the Nexus 7, Galaxy Tab 2, Apple iPad 4, IdeaPad Lynx, and the Nook.
Gamers had a lot to talk about with the announcement of the this month, and Playstation 4 pre-order for $400 was one of our hottest frontpage deals. Additionally, we saw many gaming bargains in June like 50% off used games at Gamefly, discounts for Playstation Plus subscriptions, and even a freebie for Torchlight I from GoG.
Back in May, we predicted bargains on , and we were right. One of the slickest deals this month came from the Macy's Summer Suit Sale with designer suits starting at $100.
July Preview
July means that summer is in full swing and if you can expect to see discounts on .
Summer signifies road trips with family and friends, and we anticipate sales on systems from brands like TomTom and Garmin. We also foresee discounts on so you won't miss out on any great memories.
Before camping or engaging in outdoor activities, make sure you check out the multiple sales related to and sportswear. We're counting on sales from Callaway Golf, Reebok, Oakley, and North Face just to name a few.
