ProTrials Expands Management Team; Adds Connie Cyras as Director, Project Management
(firmenpresse) - SUNNYVALE, CA and BOSTON, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/25/13 -- ™, Inc., a leader in the clinical research organization (CRO) industry, has promoted industry veteran to its senior staff as director of project management. With more than 15 years of work in clinical research, Cyras brings extensive experience managing cross-functional teams to the organization, as well as a strong scientific and technical background in biologics and clinical manufacturing. She is particularly experienced in oncology (breast, colorectal, melanoma, ovarian and pancreatic), anemia, fibrosis, infectious diseases, neurology, pain and immunological diseases research.
Before joining the organization in 2011 as a project manager, Cyras was an associate director at FibroGen and a project manager at Intarcia Therapeutics, Inc. She also had stints at BioMedicines, Inc. and Clinimetrics Research Associates.

Early in her career, Cyras studied Alzheimer's at Scios, Inc. and headed materials management for ongoing clinical trials at Abgenix, Inc. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry at the University of California, Davis and completed the Clinical Trial Design Management Certificate Program (Clinical Monitoring I) at the University of California, Santa Cruz Extension.
Cyras will be based in ProTrials' Sunnyvale, CA headquarters.
