WildFireTees.com Joins Effort to Raise Funding for Victims of Colorado Forest Fires
Non-Profit Organization Initiates $1,500,000 Fundraising Challenge
(firmenpresse) - COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 06/25/13 -- For the second year in a row, is selling limited edition t-shirts with 100% of the profits being donated to efforts that assist the thousands of people affected by the Colorado wildfires.
Since the Black Forest Fire broke out in Southern Colorado, the group has sold over $216,000 worth of t-shirts. When combined with the $635,000 in sales after last summer's Waldo Canyon Fire, the group has seen a gross revenue of over $851,000. The group is now aiming for a $1,500,000 in sales.

This summer, will donate its proceeds to the Pikes Peak Community Foundation (PPCF) who will assist victims of the Colorado fires through its Emergency Relief Fund. 100% of PPCF's Fund will benefit first responders, non-profits, and other agencies providing local disaster relief.
PPCF has put into action a committee of talented community members to help achieve the maximum positive impact possible for every dollar invested back into the community.
Made up of members of southern Colorado's design and marketing community, got its start after the horrific Waldo Canyon Fire in 2012.
"Last summer, we started the project with the goal of selling a few hundred shirts. We couldn't believe how strongly our community and people from around the entire world supported this effort and we ended up exceeding $500K in sales," said a spokesperson for the group. "We certainly wouldn't have hoped for mother nature to give us another opportunity to sell these t-shirts, but she did in the form of the Black Forest Fire and so we came up with a new design and re-introduced some of the old ones. It is our hope we can total $1,500,000 in sales as our community needs as much support as possible."
