Media Advisory: Chris Alexander to Attend the Departure of Valcartier Troops for United Nations Mission in Haiti
(firmenpresse) - VALCARTIER, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 06/20/13 -- Following the announcement of Valcartier troops for the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH), media are invited to the Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport where Chris Alexander, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Defence, will make remarks and attend the official send-off ceremony of the platoon.
Journalists are also invited to the gathering preceding the departure of the troops from Valcartier Garrison earlier that morning. Journalists attending the gathering will be able to interact with the troops and their families, and also members of the senior staff.
Notes to editor/news director:
Only attending journalists will be able to interview troops deploying. No interviews will be granted by Valcartier troops prior to the event.

On the day of the event, please be at the main gate of Valcartier Garrison no later than 8:45 a.m. to be escorted to the first event, and at the Government Air Transportation Services next to the International Terminal no later than 10:30 a.m. to be escorted to the send-off ceremony featuring PS Alexander.
