Tech Valley Communications Appoints Robert Cochran to Senior Director of Sales Engineering
Newly Created Role Supports Sales Efforts for One of the Region's Largest and Most Dense Fiber Networks
(firmenpresse) - ALBANY, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 06/20/13 -- , a facilities based telecommunications service provider operating networks in Upstate New York and Northern New England, today announced the appointment of Robert "Bob" Cochran as Senior Director of Sales Engineering effective immediately.
With a solid 15 years of experience in Sales Engineering and Network Design Engineering within the communications industry, Mr. Cochran is well positioned to actively drive and manage the technical solution development on behalf of the Sales organization. Reporting directly to , Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for TVC, Mr. Cochran will work as a key technical advisor supporting sales efforts. He will also provide support on network integration and technology initiatives.

Prior to joining Tech Valley Communications, Mr. Cochran served as Manager of Systems Engineering and Senior Systems Engineer for Sidera Networks (now Lightower) from 2007 to 2013. Prior to his roles at Sidera, Mr. Cochran served as Senior Network Solutions Engineer and Senior Network Engineer for NEON Communications, from 2001 to 2007.
