Pure Announces Availability of the First Truly Accessible Multiroom Music System

Pure's Jongo products can be used on their own or combined with other supported Jongo devices, such as and **, to deliver the most flexible and accessible multiroom audio system on the market today. The Jongo system uses Wi-Fi to stream perfectly synchronized audio within a single or multiroom environment, while Bluetooth allows users to stream content from any audio app on their smartphone or tablet, including locally stored music, to a single Jongo product. The Pure Jongo S3 portable, rechargeable wireless speaker ($199 MAP) can be used on its own or grouped together with other Jongo speakers to deliver the most flexible and accessible multiroom audio system on the market today. The compact Pure Jongo S3 offers rich, detailed and vibrant sound and comes with four tweeters for 360 degree audio, and an upward-firing subwoofer for powerful bass. Thanks to its five speakers and individual power amplifiers, Jongo has punchy audio and with a simple press of the 'audio' button on the rear of the unit, the user can select flexible audio profiles to make the most of any environment including 360 degree sound for community listening (stereo or mono); forward facing stereo or outdoor boost. Plus, an included rechargeable battery pack provides at least 10 hours of listening per charge.

Available for just $129 MAP, Jongo A2 gives users the flexibility to transform any audio system from a simple micro to a high-end Hi-Fi, into a music streamer. Jongo A2 also offers an easy way to integrate an existing Hi-Fi product into the Jongo multiroom music system and enjoy perfectly synchronized music, radio and much more through their existing audio equipment.
Jongo A2 is engineered to provide high integrity and low distortion audio and comes with a high-quality 24-bit internal DAC (digital to analog converter) as well as optical and coaxial digital and dual (RCA) phono analog audio outputs. The digital outputs allow users to connect to a digital enabled hi-fi, DAC or home cinema amplifier and the analog outputs allow connection to legacy hi-fi or other audio devices.
The new Pure Connect iOS app is also now available to download. Using Wi-Fi along with the free Pure Connect app, users can get the additional benefit of listening to multiple, tightly synchronized Jongo products in a single room or in a multiroom environment. The new Pure Connect app currently gives users access to local music on their smartphone or tablet (including iTunes playlists), over 20,000 radio stations, around 200,000 free on-demand programs and podcasts, as well as 15 million streamable music tracks via the Pure Music subscription service***.
