Raydon Announces CDT Contract Award
(firmenpresse) - PORT ORANGE, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 06/10/13 -- Raydon Corporation, of Port Orange, FL announced today it was awarded a multi-year contract with a value in excess of $40M from the Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) to design, develop and deliver common driver trainer systems for Tactical Wheeled Vehicle Variants, MRAP mobile and fixed systems, and Tank Engineering vehicle variants. The Common Driver Trainer (CDT) system consists of virtual trainers, which will be used to train members of the armed forces in the operation of the combat vehicles being fielded to Fort Leonard Wood, Mo and to bases in both Korea and Japan, as well as technical refresh to existing CDT systems fielded through the US.

"Raydon is honored to be the marquis supplier of driver training to the US Army and to be a part of the continuing success of the CDT program. It is a privilege we do not take lightly."
