New Head of Development and Lead System Architect at Wiesbaden
(PresseBox) - Since the start of June 2013, there have been two new faces at Peaches Group: Head of Development Tom Grünheit and Lead System Architect Styrmir Saevarsson. Grünheit and Saevarsson both obtained excellent degrees in the IT field and have occupied similar positions at other technology-oriented companies. Collaborating on a joint project over one year ago, they developed the technology necessary for checking mobile phone credit online and have been working closely with Peaches Group ever since the launch of prelado - prepaid anytime & anywhere. The most important task handled by 34-year-old Grünheit and 38-year-old Saevarsson is the sustained development of multifunctional, prepaid service Isoptera. "We want to pick up the pace on bringing Isoptera to the next level, so I am thrilled that we now have these two experts on board," says Vitali Strasser, SVP Technology at Peaches Group (PEACHES Mobile GmbH, PEACHES Systems GmbH, REA MOBILE GmbH).
The core competencies of the Peaches Group can be divided into two different segments: Payments & Prepaid Services.
The group has real-world experience in the field of mobile payments and positions itself as a mobile payment acquirer featuring an in-house mobile payment platform. Peaches also acts as a reseller (PSP, payment service provider) for the mpass mobile payment service of Telekom, Vodafone and O2.
The Peaches Group also provides prepaid top-up services. The Wiesbaden-based group of companies also runs an in-house prepaid service platform under the prelado prepaid anytime & anywhere brand, which offers users a real-time mobile telephone top-up service that can be accessed via app, the mobile web, and the internet. A free, provider-neutral prepaid current balance display is also available via an app (Android & iOS). This prepaid service is available from PEACHES Mobile GmbH as a white label solution for interested partners. The full-service offering, including airtime, payment processing, and a payment guarantee, is run wholly in the partner?s CI/CD.
