Acceptance into larger retailers and Club Stores stimulated by increased publicity
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 06/05/13 -- Xylitol Canada Inc. ("Xylitol Canada", or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: XYL) is pleased to announce that several national accounts have begun selling Xyla sweetener and Xyla sugar free products.
"Increasingly larger chain stores are becoming an active piece of our retail expansion. Xylitol is quickly becoming the go-to natural sugar alternative. Xylitol has been highlighted in several top selling diet books which have helped to accelerate awareness within the mainstream public. Not surprisingly, the past 18 months of publicity has created increased demand, and consequently larger retailers are now reacting to these consumer trends. More and more people are choosing to avoid sugar and artificial sweeteners and Xyla is that ideal alternative for that customer," stated Matt Willer, VP of sales.
The Company currently manufactures and distributes 75 natural, sugar free, and no sugar added products. These products are now available at an increased number of retail outlets including Natural, Grocery, and recently Club Stores.
