ViroCyt Launches Improved Virus Counter Reagent System
(firmenpresse) - DENVER, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 06/04/13 -- , the leader in the field of rapid virus quantification, today announced the availability of the Virus Counter Reagent Kit 200 for use with the Virus Counter 2100. The new system allows up to 200 samples to be run, instead of the previous amount of 50. This results in a significant decrease in per sample cost for the end user as well as the added financial and environmental benefits resulting from reduced packaging and shipping.
According to Robert Kline, President and CEO of ViroCyt, "The Virus Counter® 2100 permits quantification of intact viral particles in minutes, instead of the days or weeks and hundreds or even thousands of dollars per sample for outdated methods such as electron microscopy or plaque titer.
