Sigma's Residential Voice Services Solution Enables Cable Bahamas to Offer SIP VoIP Services to Its Residential Customers

Sigma's solutions enable Cable Bahamas to automate the provisioning of its SIP-based residential VoIP services. The platform allows the operator to easily configure and activate the telephony switching platform, voicemail system and numerous device types that subscribers use for their VoIP service.

Sigma enables a distributed architecture with centralized management, operation and storage of all configuration, operational and subscriber and device information. It easily integrates with an operator's existing OSS and BSS systems, via a single API for provisioning, monitoring and querying. The solution supports TR69, DOCSIS, PacketCable, OMA-DM and other leading protocols and standards such as support for proprietary SIP devices. Sigma's DPM offers an extensible provisioning system in addition to a device health monitoring tool, which troubleshoots access devices and supports carrier-class reliability.
