(firmenpresse) - BRANCHBURG, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 06/03/13 -- On May 8th of 2013, Hydromer, Inc. (OTC PINK: HYDI) filed SEC Form 15 terminating registration of the Company's Common Stock, the only class of securities offered and outstanding. It is the opinion of management that this decision will have minimal, if not positive, impact to the Company's shareholders.
"The compliance and regulatory aspects of being a publicly traded company has been ever increasing, from Sarbanes-Oxley to the recent XBRL reporting requirements, with the cost and burden especially disproportionate for a smaller reporting entity like Hydromer, Inc.," stated Robert Y. Lee, Chief Financial Officer. "While we are no longer filing quarterly reports via EDGAR with the SEC, the Company is filing equivalent reports with OTC Markets [formerly named Pink Sheets]. We look to maintain the same level of transparency that our shareholders are accustomed to. In addition, trading of the Hydromer stock is still available on the OTC Markets platform where most of the trading has traditionally taken place."
