Governor General to Visit Vancouver and Victoria
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/31/13 -- His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will be in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia, on June 3 and 4, 2013. The program for this visit will focus on Smart and Caring initiatives, Asia-Pacific relations, and community-campus relations in Aboriginal communities-all issues at the heart of the Governor General's pillars.
In addition, His Excellency will present the Governor General's Caring Canadian Award to a team of young baseball players who contribute to the well-being of their Little League peers.
