Prolitec Names Brinkman Lead Technical Trainer
(firmenpresse) - MILWAUKEE, WI -- (Marketwired) -- 05/29/13 -- Prolitec Inc., a leading developer of air treatment, scenting and air care technologies under the Air/Q Atmospheres brand, today announced the appointment of John Brinkman as Lead Technical Trainer for the company's full-time technicians and those working for its global Certified Service Providers (CSP).
In this new position, Brinkman will be responsible for establishing a uniform training curriculum and its dissemination across the company's direct and CSP technical channels.
Brinkman brings over 25 years of experience in audio/video, electrical and HVAC design, installation and sales to his new position at Prolitec. Since 2002, he has owned Brinkman Audio LLC, an international installer of high-end sound systems whose clients have included Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Fast Retailing, and G-Star.
He began his career in 1986 as Director of Operations, Managing Partner for fragrance company Scentura Creations PLC in Sydney, Australia. In 1988, he founded Pacific Rim Design Group, a Sausalito, Calif.-based company at the forefront of the home automation industry, giving clients total control of their HVAC, audio, video, lighting and security systems. Brinkman merged the company in 1997 with Audio Visions Inc., and was named Vice President of Northern California operations. Following the sale of the company's commercial audio division to DMX Music in 2000, Brinkman was named DMX's Director of National Sales.
A resident of Hendersonville, N.C., Brinkman graduated from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, with a degree in Secondary Education.
