GRNE Reports First Quarter 2013 Total Revenue of $855,237; up 16.5% Over 2012
(firmenpresse) - SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (Marketwired) -- 05/29/13 -- (OTCQB: GRNE), a majority owned subsidiary of Nexia Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NXHD), announced first quarter estimates of revenue for 2013.
Green is reporting that the combined unaudited revenues for its three locations were $855,237 for the first quarter of 2013; which is an increase of $121,208 or 16.5% compared to the first quarter of 2012. The Marmalade salon reported first quarter sales of $229,089; a $22,653 or 11% increase from the comparable period of 2012. Our flagship Liberty Heights salon reported revenues in the first quarter of 2013 of $578,626; a $49,956 or 9.5% increase over the same period from 2012. The Landis Experience Center, located in City Creek Center, reported first quarter revenues of $47,521 in 2013.
Richard D. Surber, CEO of GRNE, stated, "We are continuing our efforts to set the stage for expansion. We expect to file our 2012 Form 10K and 1st quarter 2013 by no later than June 30 at which point we will be current. Our plan is to raise sufficient capital at that point to begin the process of opening our next location. Our hiring and training efforts are on track for continued growth. It appears that market conditions in general are much improved compared to when we initially acquired our salon operations and went public. Timing is everything in many cases and I believe we will be positioned for substantial growth over the next 12 months."
