30th and 31st Removals of Individuals "Wanted by the CBSA"

(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/27/13 -- The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced the removals of Wasford Uriah Steer and Kenroy Clifford Davis, who were featured on the "Wanted by the CBSA" . Davis and Steer are the 30th and 31st individuals from the list to be removed from Canada.

Davis, removed on May 13th, was arrested by the Toronto Police Service on April 12, 2012. He is inadmissible to Canada for serious criminality for being convicted of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, obstruction of a peace officer and robbery.

Steer, removed on May 14th, was arrested by the Toronto Police Service on August 29, 2011 and is inadmissible to Canada for serious criminality, after being convicted of possession and use of counterfeit money, and for fraud. In addition, Steer has been convicted of assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, carrying a concealed and prohibited weapon, as well as resisting arrest.

To date, as a result of the "Wanted by the CBSA" program, Canadians have assisted in arresting 40 individuals in Canada, of which 31 have been removed. Additionally, seven individuals were located abroad.

Members of the public are reminded that they should not take action to apprehend the individuals listed on the CBSA Web site. Any information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals should be reported to the CBSA Border Watch Toll-free Line at 1-888-502-9060.
