Pro-Trans Ventures Inc. Announces Resignation of Its President and CEO
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/22/13 -- Pro-Trans Ventures Inc. ("Pro-Trans" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE: PVI) announces that the board of directors of the Corporation (the "Board") has accepted the resignation of Brian Murray as President and Chief Executive Officer effective May 31, 2013 and as a director of the Corporation and operating subsidiaries effective immediately. Darby Kreitz, the Chairman of the Board, will be interim President and Chief Executive Officer effective June 1, 2013. Mr. Murray has agreed to assist Pro-Trans on a temporary basis to ensure an orderly transition of his responsibilities.

In addition to being the Chairman of the Board of Pro-Trans, Mr. Kreitz is the founder of Pro-Trans' wholly owned subsidiary Maple Leaf Loading Ltd. and the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Allnorth Consultants Ltd. a multidisciplinary engineering and technical services consulting company with offices across Canada and the United States. Mr Kreitz was appointed to the Board upon the acquisition of Maple Leaf by Pro-Trans.
Pro-Trans has commenced a search process to identify a suitable successor to fill the role of President and Chief Executive Officer on a permanent basis.
