Generation SF Is Proud to Announce Its Second Annual "Party Like Your Parents" Fundraiser at AT&T Park to Combat Cancer
Event Will Take Place on Saturday, June 15th With the Theme of "Bridging the Gap Between Generations for a Greater Cause"; Event Will Include Cocktails, Hors D'oeuvres, Live Music and Much More
(firmenpresse) - SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/21/13 -- Generation SF, a San Francisco-based organization aimed at fighting and preventing cancer, is once again partnering with the American Cancer Society to host the 2nd annual fundraising event to raise money for cancer research and prevention. The Party Like Your Parents event will be held at AT&T Park (on the Club Level) in San Francisco on June 15th and will include attendees of all ages, generations and backgrounds.
The goal of Party Like Your Parents is to raise money for people who are living with cancer, and assist them with their needs related to transportation, lodging and treatment. The event also funds cancer research, and much more. In 2012, Party Like Your Parents raised over $200,000 thanks to the support of 650 attendees who attended the event, donated money and bid on many of the silent and live auction items.
The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. PDT, and include cocktails, hors d'oeuvers and live music from the famed cover band, Pop Rocks. In addition, there will be live and silent auctions, which will include vacations, golf excursions, dining, sports memorabilia, spa packages and much more. In addition, attendees will be able to take photos with the 2010 and 2012 San Francisco Giants World Series Championship trophies, and the Giants' lovable mascot, Lou Seal.
