The Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State (Science and Technology), will make an announcement regarding scientific research at universities across Canada.
Prior to the announcement, senior officials from the three granting councils (NSERC, SSHRC and CIHR), the Canada Foundation for Innovation, and Genome Canada will deliver presentations regarding federal government support for discovery research. These presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
