New China Media International (NCMI) Concludes Deal With Disney Media Distribution and Beijing Satellite Television (BTV)
(firmenpresse) - SHANGHAI, CHINA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/15/13 -- New China Media International (NCMI) has concluded a deal with DisneyMedia Distribution, on the licensing of the famous ABC format DUETS into the Chinese market. The Chinese version of the show is going to be broadcasted on Beijing Satellite station (BTV), which is one of the major national stations in China reaching over 800 million viewers across the country.
The successful collaboration, introduced and brokered by NCMI, clearly indicates another new era for BTV, as this is their station's first time foreign format, to be produced domestically and aired domestically during weekend Prime Time in China. The BTV station executives along with consulting services from NCMI's on the ground team are fully engaged in the project development. The show is planned to start production in May and the first episode will be aired at 9.15pm on the 6thJuly 2013 local time.
