Multi-Talented Houston Based Triple Threat Shevyn Roberts' Dance, Pop and Rock Influenced Debut EP 'Superstitious' Is Produced by Louis Yoelin, Who Has Worked With Rock Band Valora and Former KSM Singer and Emerging Disney Artist Shelby Cobra

In the infectious song, penned by EP's producer , she may be looking up at the stars wondering which boy to hang with but in real life, the multi-talented singer and dancer is fully grounded with an intense work ethic and a burning desire to get out there and spread her joyous sense of fun.
Fans in Roberts' hometown of have been feeling her vibe the past few years. In 2008, her video for the song a track from her first EP, produced by () -- aired on the city's . Later that year, she was a featured artist at , a holiday time concert put on by (Houston's #1 Hit Music Station) that included performances by and The following March, the singer performed as the only featured artist at the concert pre-party at Houston's ; she ended 2009 by opening for an about-to-explode at the capped 2012 by being named one of magazine's of the year.
Roberts hooked up with Yoelin and developed tracks by recording her vocals in Houston after receiving produced tracks that he sent from his studio in Los Angeles. During the few years she was developing her sound as an artist from the teenybopperish flow of her first EP to the mature and confident R&B on Superstitious, Roberts -- a six-time champion as a teenager with the and -- in 2010 opened a non-profit organization for kids offering ballet, jazz and hip-hop dance classes.
