Solarize Coventry Offers Tier 4 Pricing and Huge Savings to Residents
(firmenpresse) - COVENTRY, CT -- (Marketwired) -- 05/13/13 -- Response to is going strong and while the program just hit Tier 3 pricing, , the official Coventry installer, is so confident of additional sign-ups, it is now offering Tier 4 pricing. This jump to Tier 4 pricing represents thousands of dollars in savings to solar customers. All current Solarize Coventry customers will benefit from the Tier 4 pricing, even if they signed their contract at a different price tier.
"We couldn't be happier with our decision to Solarize," reported David and Elizabeth Eddy, who are recent participants in Solarize Coventry, and who will now receive additional savings on their solar system through the Tier 4 discounts available from Encon Solar.
The Town of Coventry, along with Bridgeport, Canton and a coalition of Mansfield and Windham, has been selected through a competitive process to participate in Solarize Connecticut, a State-sponsored program through the Connecticut Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority that combines coordinated town education and outreach efforts with a tiered pricing offer from a pre-selected installer to significantly increase residential solar. The more residents who participate in the program, the more the price drops, with all residents receiving the lowest possible price for their installation no matter when they sign up for the program. However, residents must sign a contract by July 12, 2013 to qualify. In Phase 1 of Solarize Connecticut, participating towns more than doubled the amount of solar during the 20-week program than had been purchased over the previous 7 years, and all four towns hit the lowest price level -- Tier 5. Coventry is on track for equally positive results.
