New: Small and compact pressure transmitters at a low cost
(PresseBox) - The new pressure transmitters from ifm electronic have been specially developed for industrial applications with oils, compressed air or water. Instead of a conventional pressure measuring cell, a thin film cell has been integrated into the sensors of the PT series. Thanks to this, the pressure transmitters offer greater accuracy at the best possible price / performance ratio.
The measurement accuracy is ? ± 0.5 % and the repeatability is indicated with ? ± 0.1 %. The analogue output signal of 4...20 mA is provided via an M12 connection. ifm electronic offers versions with different pressure ranges between 0 and 400 bar.
Since the measuring cell is welded directly to the housing, no separate seal is required. The slim, compact housing is entirely made of stainless steel and is integrated into the process via the G 1/4 connection. With the high vibration and shock resistance and the protection ratings IP 67 and IP 69K, the unit is perfectly suited for industrial applications.
