Weir Oil & Gas Announces Its First Weir Pressure Control "Super" Service Center Opening
Super Centers Offer Multiple Product Lines and Combined Services to Better Meet Customers' Pressure Control Needs
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 05/07/13 -- Weir Oil & Gas announced today the opening of their first Weir Super Service Center for pressure control. Based in Odessa, Texas, the Center will offer comprehensive service and support to the Seaboard and Mathena product lines in the Permian Basin.
The Super Center concept provides total support solutions, under one roof, for Weir's entire pressure control product range. The facility is located to ensure close proximity to customers, ensuring downtime is minimized. This supports the philosophy and standard for the pressure pumping service center model which offers repair services with new SPM, Mesa and Novatech product sales.

The Odessa Weir Oil & Gas Super Center will focus on Seaboard wellhead equipment, frac stacks, Zip-Packsm manifold, and frac flowback services and Mathena eco tanks, separators, drive overs, hydraulic chokes and choke manifolds. Unique to the Weir Oil & Gas Super Center are local area technicians who are highly skilled in pressure control applications and familiar with the Permian Basin customer base.
Weir announced the acquisition of Mathena, which provides surface control expertise, rental services and manufacturing capabilities of surface control products for drilling and completion applications, in December 2012. Combined with Weir Seaboard, which provides wellheads and other pressure control equipment, Weir provides pressure and surface control equipment and support across all phases of drilling and completions.
Weir Oil & Gas operates over 80 service centers globally, which offer a complete suite of products and services.
Mathena provides surface control expertise, equipment rental and services to a broad customer base within the drilling and completion spaces. In addition, Mathena designs and fabricates superior surface control equipment including hydraulic chokes, mud-gas and shale-gas separators including proprietary technology for fluid separation and containment designed to meet the increasing environmental and safety requirements of shale drilling.
Weir Seaboard manufacturers and services engineered wellheads, frac stacks, flowback services, other pressure control equipment and provides a range of field and support services.
Weir Oil & Gas Division provides superior products and service solutions to Oil & Gas customers in upstream, production, transportation, refining and related industries. Upstream products include Pressure Pumping equipment and services from SPM, Mesa and Novatech. Seaboard and Mathena provide Pressure Control products & rental services.
