STMicroelectronics and Quantenna Enter Strategic Licensing Agreement
STMicroelectronics to Integrate Quantenna's Award-Winning 802.11ac Wi-Fi Technology Into Various System-on-Chip Platforms
(firmenpresse) - FREMONT, CA and GENEVA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/07/13 -- STMicroelectronics (NYSE: STM), a global semiconductor leader serving customers across the spectrum of electronics applications, and Quantenna Communications, Inc., a leader in ultra-reliable Wi-Fi networking for whole-home entertainment, announced today that they have signed a non-exclusive worldwide licensing agreement giving ST the ability to integrate Quantenna IP into its broad array of systems-on-chips and giving Quantenna the ability to leverage the entire ecosystem of ST's entertainment, networking and security products.
