Two notes. That's all it takes to recognize the voice of . Distinctive and soulful, it is one of the most emotive instruments of our times. Add to this McDonald's formidable songwriting and keyboard skills, and you have an artist who has been a singular musical presence for four decades. Individually, they are three titans of contemporary music: , the gifted trumpeter/flugelhornist with the golden voice; GRAMMY® Award-winning tenor saxophonist , the Memphis-born artist who mixes Beale Street, gospel, the blues and bop; and , the GRAMMY®-winning guitarist who brings a Louisiana lilt to his Wes Montgomery/George Benson influenced six-string soulful strut. They came together eleven years ago as the supergroup known as BWB and their historic album Groovin', made them one of the most sought-after groups at that time.

This terrific triad reassembles with the June 18, 2013 release of Human Nature on Heads Up International. This long-awaited sequel spotlights BWB's reimaging of eleven selections made famous by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

Few entertainers have attained the iconic status of Dwight Yoakam. His name immediately conjures up compelling, provocative images: A pale cowboy hat with the brim pulled low; poured-on blue jeans; intricate, catchy melodies paired with poignant, brilliant lyrics that mesmerize with their indelible imprint. Then there's Yoakam the actor, who seemingly melts into his roles, impressively standing toe-to-toe with some of the world's top thespians: Jodie Foster, Tommy Lee Jones, Forest Whitaker, Nicholas Cage.

Yoakam's latest album, 3 Pears, balances his country core with a fiercely independent embrace of rock, Americana, pop and soul. It blends Yoakam's respect for his musical predecessors with the collaborative assistance of modern singer/songwriter Beck, who co-produced two tracks, and current rocker Kid Rock, who co-wrote the hooky opener, "Take Hold Of My Hand."

His reign as King of the Blues has been as long as that of any monarch on earth. Yet B.B. King continues to wear his crown well. At age 87, he is still light on his feet, singing and playing the blues with relentless passion. Time has no apparent effect on B.B., other than to make him more popular, more cherished, more relevant than ever. Don't look for him in some kind of semi-retirement; look for him out on the road, playing for people, popping up in a myriad of T.V. commercials, or laying down tracks for his next album. B.B. King is as alive as the music he plays, and a grateful world can't get enough of him. B.B. continues to tour extensively, averaging over 250 concerts per year around the world. Classics such as "The Thrill Is Gone," "How Blue Can You Get," and "Everyday I Have The Blues" are concert (and fan) staples.
