SPi Global Wins Best BPO Award in Vietnam for 3rd Time
(firmenpresse) - MANILA, PHILIPPINES -- (Marketwired) -- 04/25/13 -- SPi Global, a leading globally recognized full-service BPO provider, has won an award for best BPO service in Vietnam for the third consecutive year after having won the judges' approval during the 2013 Sao Khue Awards given by the Vietnam Software Association (Vinasa).
This year, SPi Global's ePublishing application was recognized for innovativeness in dealing with clients' challenges in converting digital files for publication of physical books to eBooks.

The conventional method of optical character recognition (OCR) for conversion posed some problems for SPi Global's publishing clients, which include formatting errors, incorrect order of texts extracted, and mixed-up columns, to name a few. SPi Global introduced a new approach and was able to address all these problems, with a guaranteed accuracy of more than 99.95%.
As a result, efficiency soared. Conversions into various formats such as HTML, XML, ePub, etc., became easier and more accurate.
The Sao Khue event was attended by representatives of some of the biggest and most innovative companies in Vietnam. Officers of Vinasa, government officials, and representatives from the software, IT, and BPO companies were present to honor the most remarkable firms in the industry.
