On April 18, First Fresh captured a Silver Medal at the 2013 New York International Olive Oil Competition in New York City, and listed among the . The New York competition attracted 653 entries from 22 countries. Only 260, or 40%, of the entries received an award, selected by 15 judges from 10 countries. , an independent online newsletter in Rhode Island, organized the competition which was sponsored by and the in SoHo, where most of the event was held.
Prior to earning recognition in New York's International Competition, First Fresh earned a Gold Medal at the 2013 and in 2012 a Prestige Gold award at TerraOlivo, an international olive oil competition in Jerusalem, Israel.
